I graduated in 2002 from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Since then I have been practicing small animal general medicine, most of that time as a practice owner. After 17 years as a practice owner, I sold my business so I could focus my time solely on diagnostic ultrasonography.

My interest in ultrasonography started 15 years ago when I purchased my first used GE machine. Initially it was to do FAST Scans, but then I started doing more in depth exams as my skills improved.

Since then I have attended countless CE courses, as well as intensive advanced ultrasound courses in both abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography through Universal Imaging, Sound Imaging and WAVE Imaging.

I am currently in the process of getting IVUSS Certification (International Veterinary Ultrasound Society) and volunteer a few days a month with a Board Certified Radiologist as the learning never ends!
